nature meets architecture: chefchaouen
Morocco holds an immediate and enduring fascination ! Much of the intrigueing culture of old Morocco can be seen in the cities. that's why my ambition to visit every part of morocco is growing up more and more !! that can be much inspiration to understand morroccan's developement and culture in both urban and rural areas.
All cities ,except Agadir which has been totally rebuilt, have an old arab area or medina where the great history of morocco can be seen.
An important part of any Moroccan city is the souks , often divided into seperate areas dealing with different comodities and crafts .
this time i'm taking some time and pictures in Chefchaouen or chaouen ,
this humble town is the embodiment of almost every Moroccan cliché.The picturesque medina, set against the dramatic backdrop of the Rif Mountains, is filled with white-washed homes with distinctive, powder-blue accents, a very attractive city ! It's no wonder that tourists from all over the world flock here!!!!!!
If you've got a few days to relax and to be inspired this is a real good peacefull place to do it!
