Reuse cd

Pin It Now!

I was thinking of a way to have something a bit heavy and easy to cut ,so while looking in the drawer for beads I found some pieces of cd that I cut and used it for a collection 3 yeas ago ,
to be honest actually I don't like the plastic very much but still it can be useful for me,it's  the easiest to transform ,I wanted to use wood instead  but my hand was hurt two years ago so i'm not allowed to make too much effort!and I still don't have all the materials to shape it as I like .

(my dress with cd pieces from 3 years ago )

so I thought it could be interesting but still I didn't like the bling bling colours so much ,so I thought it's better to use it just as a surface,it's pretty fun to cut triangles, squares but a bit difficult  for round/detailed  shapes .

after cutting (cd ) on pieces I use yellow paper to smooth corners,

                                                           than I use paper magazine
I stick paper and brush over with transparent white glue
it keeps the pieces luminous and safe

I made composition with the pieces on a necklace that I already DIY with crochet

to connect pieces to the neck lace or bracelet , make a hole ,you  need just a big needle or anything thin and sharp put it to 2 seconds on fire and make the hole

for me I prefer reuse paper but you can stick paper and write some words that you like or quotes, or draw ...or  instead of paper you can use paint or nail polish and always brush over with white glue

                                                 make composition and connect them.
